UFC 117 – CHAEL SONNEN VS ANDERSON SILVA

where do i begin about this event… i guess i can start by saying how fucking awesome this card was and seeing it live was just spectacular (note i never ever say spectacular, sounds like one of those fuckstick that reads too much books) i think i may have to say that this was one of the greatest fight i have seen and witness. the pre-fight hype, the shit talking, the domination of chael sonnen and batshit crazy fight ending in less than 40 secs. let me just say i am still fucking shock that chael lost but this fight showed both fighters weaknesses was exposed but one was able to overcome the domination but anderson is the champ, a champ will find a way win.

i have nothing but respect to the fat guy after what dos santos have done in 3 rounds and still wasn’t able to put roy nelson away.

i picked ricardo to win this one but note matt is a hall of famer for a reason and boy, that was one crazy submission. good nite.

always wonderful to see the caveman fight. he’s exciting to watch.

one of the guys that was with us is jon fitch training partner nate james (twitter, fan page). i didn’t want to offend the dude and kick the shit out of me but that fight was boring but i totally understand jon’s game plan. as a fan, it was not exciting but what i notice after he won is that UFC didn’t even give him a post-fight interview. he has always been treated as a step child.

this is it! one of the most anticipating fight of the night. chael ran in the octagon and wasted 0 times, dude was ready to go war. after that first round, the place was fucking wild and i could barely hear anything. i think this was the 2nd FIRST ROUND loss for anderson, and i think the 1st loss first round he had was with henderson in UFC82 but was still able to win that fight.

the guy next to our skybox was fucking wild, i mean the dude was banging the shit out of our glass and just ready to blow the fuck up. its kinda like roid rage.

after 4 and a half of domination from chael sonnen, anderson was able to overcome and submitted chael and i was just quiet. i’m still in shock. i still can’t believed it and i’m devastated for him.

half of the crew… it was awesome time.

pete + jay (namakabrand). thank you jay for the tickets, the skybox, the food, the whole fucking event. shit was nuts and it was a great FIRST UFC event.
