If you wanted to see the history of drifting, the real people that were the pioneers of DRIFTING, watch this video.

Before Jiu-Jitsu, I was involved in amateur pro drifting and it changed my life. It taught me life skills that I never knew I had.
I wanted to share with all of you what DRIFTING is and where it came from.

Moto P was the person responsible of bringing drifting to everyone here in the US. It is the reason why Formula D & D1GP exist in the states. Of course he had people like Naoki, the rest of the CLUB4ag’ers club & Taka Aono.

Taka is the AE86 pioneer. It is him that made everyone keep their Corolla and be hopeful. Taka has been one of the greatest friend & person that I have ever met. A modern day samurai that never gives up and is still willing to fight for what he believes. From day one, he has been drifting an AE86 and have stayed pure to his roots which he could have easily move to a new chassis and be more competitive. Mad respect to this guy for keeping it real and giving hope to others that gave up on their dreams.

Thank you Taka Aono for everything you have done for the AE86 & DRIFTING community. It is you that gives hope to dreamers by showing that giving up is not an option.

Pan Ams has come and gone and for a few weeks, we’ve been slammed with work. One thing we were so busy with was patching our crew for the event.

We’ve started heat transfer patching gis a few years back because I hated the look of the sewn on patches, mis-sizing and different colors. But maybe it’s because of my OCD.

Here’s Morgan with her last name on the back. We’ve been killin’ it with this lately. Join the movement and stop looking like a kook!

We can design almost anything like your school patch or any of your design ideas.

This was probably one of my favorites that I’ve designed on a gi and I’ve done many but this one takes the cake. Edwin and I went back and forth with our ideas and we wanted to incorporate a little bit of his Armenian heritage so we added the Coat of arms of Armenia. Of course we had to add this team, our logo and his last name without overdoing it but I think we’ve got it…

If you got an idea or you just want something simple, hit us up…

We’d like to welcome the Miyao Brothers to the WVSN CREW. We couldn’t be more excited about them being part of the crew.

We’ve been fans of these kids since blue belt. By far, the best pound for pound Jiu-Jitsu athletes ever.

These kids have proven people wrong over and over again. They said their game wouldn’t work at the black belt level… BOOAAA PAULO & JOAO!!!

Our second stop was the RVCA HQ since some of the WVSN CREW needed to cut some weight. Thanks to Uncle Rich for letting us crash the place and always taking care of us.

As some people think they are socially awkward, they are just shy. If you’re not part of their circle/friends the Miyao Bros won’t peep a word but around us, they are the coolest kids and I find them super interesting because of how hard they work on their craft. It’s amazing how much these two are dedicating their life for Jiu-Jitsu.

The training was amazing. They will train with everyone and they won’t stop. After everyone was done training, the boyz were still on the mat drilling. Doing it all again, in just a few hours after resting.

We got an invite from one of our supporters FIVE GRAPPLING so a few of us went down to LA to support their event, California 1. Probably one of the coolest new events out there today. The people behind it really want Jiu-Jitsu to flourish outside of our community and bring it to a bigger audience.

Of course they had a few issues but they’ll be fixed and they are always willing to listen to feedback.

Ran into Bear Shoyoroll & Scotty OTM – Two of the raddest dudes in the GI game. Always willing to take time out of their day to listen and give advice to upcoming brands.

Even tho he’s a homie, we’re always hyped when peeps rock our shit. Thanks Roach!

Our very own Trill Tran. This dude knows nothing about scoring. Always going for submissions so he either wins in the first 15 seconds or loses on points.

Our boy Ruben, long time coming for this dude and finally got that gold homie.
